This project is not something of a traditional element. Right from the start, the shape is not he kind of seat you would see everyday. Yet, the main purpose is simple; ease of
access to everything you need in the library in a single reach. This circle stands 246cm tall, made entirely from hand-cut plywood. It can also rock gently back and forth.
Reading lamps are placed for reading in the most obvious manner, while lights placed around the circumference act as a clock, timers changing the brightness of them to its highest at the equinox of the day, dimmed to nothing at midnight. As I have told you, it’s not the usual thing. Design by
