The colour is bright

The contemporary art center Luigi Pecci in Prato presents The colour is bright the beauty is generous, the first great exhibition of the Taiwanese artist Michael Lin. The exhibition – from the 17th of November 2010 till the 13th of February 2011 – is curated by Marco Bazzini, Art Director of Pecci Center, and by Felix Schöber. Michael Lin got famous because of his magnificent paintings on walls and on pavements, that are inspired to flowers and to Taiwanese and Japanese fabrics, works that are out-and-out interaction platforms for visitors. The approach shows that the artist is focusing on the exhibition space; in fact, he decides to design a great artistic work that welcomes visitors instead of producing a simple item to gaze.

Lin invited some Japanese Ateliers Bow-Wow, that are representing Japan at the current edition of Biennale in Venice, to collaborate with him in arranging the exhibition set. Here, there are some images.
